Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month May 2018
Cherry was given as a christmas present. Unfortunately the owner did not have the time to look after her and she also could not cope with the wound, that was made by Cherry digging her skin after vaccination.

Thank you for entering Cherry, ouch that looks painful! Hope she soon recovers xx

This entry is on behalf of Tameside Rabbit Rescue
Blake
This young, friendly nethy was brought to the rescue after having issues with his teeth. His owners couldn't afford the vet bills and threatened to let him off in a field if we didn't take him in. They brought him in on Saturday and we had to rush him to the vets who saw him after closing time and managed to file his teeth down to enable him to eat! He was very hungry indeed and tucked straight into his food!
He will need his teeth removing and we plan having this done asap. Blake is one of many rabbits just recently brought to the rescue with dental issues and the cost of filing and removing has had a massive impact on the vet bills.
