Thank you on behalf of Alice of Windwhistle Warren Rabbit & Guinea pig Rescue in Glos- I know how much she will appreciate it. :)
Alice( like many of the Rescues no doubt) often has an influx pre and post Christmas, so all support is gratefully received.:)

HUGE thanks to everyone for their support in the Christmas appeal.

FBRC are very greatful for the gifts from the Amazon wishlist, and of course our share in the cash raised.

This month FBRC turned 5 years old, and on Sunday past we did a tour of most of our foster care network distributing the gifts collected via Pledge-a-pound, some gifts we had been donated directly and some toys and treats made and donated by the volunteer team.

See some of our photos and videos on our Facebook page.

The day has finally arrived and we can announce our total for the Christmas fundraiser \:D/ \:D/

This year has been such a success and we would like to thank all of our supporters for helping us to achieve this, this includes everyone that has donated items for the auctions, or purchased items from us, we would like to give a special mention to Bunny Burrows who have sent us two large parcels of items to help raise funds, even though they are a rescue and need to raise funds for themselves :)

We have so many kind and generous supporters who send donations on a regular basis, via a standing order through the bank or a recurring payment with Paypal, as well as people who donate whenever they can spare a little extra, you are all truly wonderful :)

Also a huge thank you to all the people that sent a donation from our Amazon wish list, each of the rescues should now have received their parcel of treats and toys :)

There are so many people that have helped us and we can't thank you enough, but we hope that the knowledge that you have helped 18 rescues and hundreds of rabbits throughout the year will give you a warm glow this Christmas :)

So without further ado ..............

Our final total is

£3805.77 - our rescues will receive £211 each

This was made up from the following fundraisers:

Carried over from Summer 1.40
Easy Fundraising 20.24
Daisy Sponsorship 246.00
Hosting Daisy 101.46
Fleece mats etc 111.96
August Auction 520.28
October Auction 755.75
November 313.44 (less £63.10 paid out in October to the last rescue on the monthly donation list)
December 422.66
Stockings 275.60
November Auction 892.32
Shop sales 91.47
Donation from Rainbows 102.00
NCH Donation (Honeybunny2007 work place) 14.29

All donations will be paid out over the weekend - apart from the 3 rescues who haven't informed me of their preferred method of payment, theirs will be transferred as soon as I receive confirmation from them :)

Last but certainly not least, I would like to give a huge thank you to the 3 other members of the Pledge a Pound team, who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to help the rescues that we support - you are such stars (*) (*) :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

That's a fantastic total!

Well done everyone, this will make such a difference in the new year. Especially given that it is typically the time of year more of the rabbits in the rescue fall ill due to seasonal impact.

Thank you all again.

Huge thanks from Hooper Haven Rabbit and Guinea Pig Sanctuary.

We are still running at full capacity of nearly 150 permanent residents, a large percentage of which are in their twilight years (8yrs+)

Your support is very much appreciated, particularly now as it is getting harder and harder to raise funds to keep us going.

Rest assured that 100% of donations are spent entirely on feed, bedding or veterinary costs.

Thank you all so much, and a Merry Christmas to you all x
