BETTY
Betty came to us as a stray. Luckily we did not get her neutered straight away. A few weeks later when opening up one morning i spotted fur on the floor. Opening her house door there was a nest that had been made overnight. My stomach dropped as i guessed that she had given birth during the night. As mum was so thin when she came in, we were worried that her body would not cope but fortunately Betty was a fantastic mum. The stress did catch up with her as she contracted snuffles. The vet informed us that Betty could not have any medication as it would affect the babies, so we had to watch and wait. Three babies did die, which is such a shame but the remaining 3 are doing so well and are now all on medication.

Aw how sad for Betty that she lost 3 babies from being so thin But at least she and the 3 surviving babies are safe with you now and they are all on medication for snuffles.
Gorgeous bunnies all of them
I hope Betty will be able to keep one of her babies with her when they are rehomed, after all she has been through, and wish her good luck with her entry for June

Hi Sue
I am a little confused. Could you tell me if this is the correct page to post this months entries as all the others are on a different one.
