Re: Herbie - 4 Cancer Lumps - Update
A wee update on Herbie, I should have did this last week!
The vets gave him his his leg and chest x-rays. Not great news, the leg tumor is too big to remove, it's not in the bone but it's too large to remove without leaving a massive wound that would probably need a skin graft. Also there are some abnormalities in his chest, they can't say that it would deffo be the cancer spreading but is likely. So I just brought him home and I am just keeping him as happy as I can until his wee body has had enough. He is still very bright in himself. He is now on daily Metacam.
I got the X-Ray images from my Vets, you can see the lump on the leg and you can also see wee white abnormalities in his chest area. (Not so clear in the face down pic, but in the side view you can see)

Poor lad - I'm sorry to hear this, hopefully metacam will keep him comfortable x
Re: Herbie - 4 Cancer Lumps - Update
I'm sorry to hear the results weren,t as good as you hoped. I think you are right to avoid radical surgery on an older rabbit. As long as you can keep Herbie pain free, for him life will be just the same. Sue xx
