Pro-fibre pellets

Post by susie bun »

Have arrived for Spenser. I put some in his dish, and am all agog to see if he eats them. He also had a new tunnel, a loofa ball, mountain meadow herbs and dandelion cigars arrive today.

Spenser: I don't like them, I don't like them at all. [-x I made Mummy all excited by having a sniff and taking one in my mouth, but then I sropped it and fur-puddled.

Susie bun: *sighs heavily* I suppose he may change his mind?

give him time - it took eric a while too but i tend to put them in his dish at pellet time and 'forget' the ss pellets til he's had a strop and eaten them ;)

I started by mixing just a few in with the SS pellets, so that they would smell the same ;) Dan & Clo would go for the real SS pellets first, and then eat the others. Now they will happily eat the PF pellets first.

Butters would never touch them - not even picking one up to try 8-|

Spenser is sulking under the desk, sat on a tapestry cushion my late Gran made for me. He seems to have claimed it. He has graciously accepted some hand-fed SS pellets, but is still having nothing to do with the new pellets. He may have them later. He seems to get the muchies late at night, and I often hear him crunching leftovers around midnight.

Homer, Katy and Cassie all go mad for them like Fenugreek!
If he finds out he is only getting them and not SS he may start to try them.
