Good morning everyone,

Apologies that we're a few hours late with our May update - it's been a whirlwind of a month!

Our lovely girl Jilly was returned to Binky Buns after many years of being adopted. Jilly has limited sight so is currently mapping our her new home with us. We also have ongoing worries for our beautiful Arna who has started to pass some blood - We're treating her under strict vet direction and hoping for the best. Our rescue has also moved to a sanctuary setting too.

Until next month!

Love from Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well and coping in the challenges of covid-19.

This month has been all about our piggies. Our beautiful Arna popcorned over the rainbow bridge and our Thor was bereft. However, he has been given a beautiful home with an ex-BB piggy - We love your Thor and wish you a beautiful forever home. Our Beau is having some urinary issues and he is under the care of out fab vet. Our Chairbun Dave has been vaccinated and given a full bill of health. Here is to more good news next month.

Take and love from Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

We hope that you're all well.

July has been a busy month for us, as ever. At the beginning of the month, we took part in Rabbit Awareness Week, where we did a social media campaign about all things bunny. We also rescued and rehomed a beautiful pair of piggies, named Whiskey and Caramel. They are now popcorning and squeaking in their forever home and loving life. Everyone else is doing well, and with the warm weather, we are having malting a global. All of a human team or perpetually covered in rabbit fur, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Until next bond, we wish you good health and a great month.

Best wishes,

Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

We hope that you've all had a good August. Our lovely residents have been enjoying some sun and the warmer weather. We're happy to say that it's been very much a month of steadying the ship, so to speak, and plodding along with our residents. We have many a bunner on daily medications and health care plans so it's been good to have a month with no major dramas. Until next month.

Love from Team BB @};- xx

Hi everyone,

We hope that you're all well and keeping safe.

September was a mixture of glorious sunshine, with our residents enjoying the lovely and long days, and ended with a very wet and Autumnal feel. Many of our residents are prescribed long term medications, so we've been concentrating on ensuring that they're doing well. A new residents joined our team - Meet Stanley. We'd like to welcome our newest resident, Stanley, to Team Binky Buns. We rescued this little man after he was fighting with his brother and both bunnies were at risk of serious harm from each other. Stanley was sold, from a pet shop, as a girl along with another mis-sexed male bun. We are literally full to the rafters at the moment so we have boarded Stanley at a local boarding establishment, where he is being pampered and settling in well. Stanley will be neutered in the coming weeks.

Until next month, best wishes,

Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

We hope that you're all well and keeping safe. We're not sure how it is October already but here we are!

October 2021 was a super busy month for Team BB. Our illustrious Chairbun Dave developed dacrocystitis and has some fur loss around his eye. We have had an expert opinion from our trusted vet and he is now on a course of treatment to manage the condition. On a brighter note, our lovely Stanley found his forever home with a lovely couple who are bunny savvy and will provide him with everything (and more!) that he needs. We also rescued and rehomes a beautiful little piggy named Pippy, who had been alone for her entire life. We are happy to report that she is now an integral part of a piggy herd and is loving life! The dreaded GI stasis hit our Flora hard and her main human caregiver was amazing in helping Flora to recover - Her husbun Roger never left her side at any point. True love! We also rescued a beautiful pair of young female buns, who we named Rosa and Hallie, and we will be neutering them in the next couple of weeks.

At the end of this month, we lost one of our elderbuns Nugget, who passed away quietly in his bed. He had been playing a few hours before and it was a very gentle hop to the Rainbow Bridge. He was surrounded by his animal friends and the Binky Buns humans who loved him. Nugget was 12 years old and had spent his first 11 years in a tiny hutch being used as a breeding buck. Our old boy was amazing though and lived every moment of his year with us. He became best friends with Teddy, the Rottweiler, slept in every soft bed he could find, binkied with joy (even with severe arthritis) and had a very sweet habit of carrying his toys round the house in his mouth.

We were blessed to have known Nugget and to have witnessed his year of freedom.

Until we meet again, our gentle boy:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your back.

Until next month, best wishes,

Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

Apologies that we're a couple of days late - It's literally been a non- stop November.

November brought us a lot of happenings. We took in and rehomed a beautiful but bereaved piggy named Rizzo. We're happy to report that she's happy and popcorning with her new best friend piggy. Our residents have also had a lot of health issues, including everything from tummies to eyes - As ever, they've been amazing and took to their care plans incredibly well. We were hit by Storm Arwen but we're happy to say that we all came through it, albeit it cold due to the subsequent snow. We also held an Auction and started our Christmas Raffle.

Until next month, please look after yourselves.

Best wishes,

Team BB @};- x

Hi everyone,

Hoppy New Year and Christmas from Team BB. We hope that you've all enjoyed the festivities and managed to keep safe and well.

December came and went with gumption for us. We rehomed our Rosa, after the sad loss of her sister Hallie, and she's now living her best bunny life in her new home (soon to be announced on our social media channels). We also rescued a beautiful little stray in the week running up to Christmas and named him Buddy after one of our favourite Christmas film characters. We're boarding Buddy at a local boarding establishment as we're full to the brim but couldn't stand the thought of him not having anywhere to go. He's due to be neutered next week so please send him some good luck vibes if you can. All of our residents are hopping and popcorning along well.

Until next month, sending lots of well wishes for 2020.

Best wishes,

Team BB @};- x
