This is Sonny who is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel.
He is a lively, affectionate, loyal and cuddly boy who came into rescue because his owners started to work longer hours and they no longer had time for him.
To their knowledge, Sonny has had at least 4 homes in his life so I keen to see the next move his last.
Sonny is very sociable with other dogs and fine with older children, but cannot live with cats.
He has good recall off the lead, loves to play ball and typically of a spaniel, is very keen to please and eager to learn.
Sonny cannot be left for long periods of time initially, but after a few days he does settle, so his new owner will need to expect some settling in time.
Sonny had a large skin tag on his back end when he arrived. This has now been removed. He has been castrated and his vaccinations have been bought up to date. He is microchipped and has been worm and flea treated.
Sonny will need to be clipped out every 6-8 weeks and he does not like people clipping the hair in between his toes, so a professional groomer will be needed to do this.
He will need a garden to play in with minimum fence heights of at least five foot all the way round with no gaps or holes in the fencing.
Sonny is on a strict diet as he was very fat on arrival so we would appreciate if the new owner can carry this on.
A homecheck will be carried on and a minimum adoption fee of £150 applies.
