Vimto - female rabbit - Surrey REHOMED

Post by Furry_Friends »

I have edited this thread to avoid confusion. We have one little baby left now.

Vimto
DOB: 30/03/15

Vimto came to us with her siblings, who have all found new homes, leaving little Vimto left. She is looking for a home with a neutered male rabbit for company.

These baby rabbits were being given away along with their mum, her younger litter and their dad. The mum, other babies and dad went to Animal Lifeline in Sutton, and because the mum was pushing these little ones out and she is pregnant again, the babies have come to us.

Vimto is very friendly, loves people and she is looking for a home with a neutered male rabbit for company.

She has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed and has seen our vet. We ask for a minimum donation of £40 per rabbit.

What unusual markings :x
Does Nettle have to have 2 neutering ops being a hermaphrodite?
I do hope they will all find loving homes. :)

I would assume from the description given that she would require removal of the testes but only has a vagina, meaning there are no further female reproductive organs requiring removal. I would speculate though that if there were any other pieces of female tissue inside it might have to be removed because of its nonfunctional nature- that any hormones being secreted would probably be defective and a health risk. Either way, she would not be fertile in any capacity.

***Update*** Sprite, the male rabbit, has gone to a new home, to be bonded with a recently bereaved rabbit.
We still have his three sisters in who are looking for homes. They can go as a trio, pair, or on their own to be bonded with another rabbit.
