help urgently needed

Post by elaine »

I was out last night with the rspca until 11pm on a rabbit rescue finally got to bed at 12, I have taken in 21 rabbits from the most horrendous conditions you can imagine most of the rabbits had no food, water, bedding anything other than rats for company.
They were in sheds which you had to walk through ankle deep mud, I had to borrow wellies from them, the cages were all faling apart and alot of them were living in little wire contraptions it was really sad

I desperately need food, bedding, water bottles literally anything as these could be with me for months. I am now very very overloaded with rabbits and desperately need homes for the rescue apart from these

I am in Manchester

Well done for getting them out of those awful conditions. Can the RSPCA not help with anything?

Poor,poor bunnies :(

Our local RSPCA had to take 80 from a house in Bournemouth the other week, from awful conditions - it's happening far too often :(

Can you PM me your address Elaine? I have spare bottles and some other bits I can send lurking somewhere in the garage - I'll dig them out tomorrow x

well done for rescuing them :) .
I have 1 spare bottle I can send you- it's not much but I guess it all adds up.
I will send you some apple leaves and nut leaves too.
I can probably find an old towel if you can use that for bedding?
sue :)

are plastic bowls any good? ( earthenware are heavy & would be too expensive to post )
could I send a Tesco clubcard voucher- then you could buy a bowl ?

Have found 7 water bottles, and some plastic food bowls. Also have a couple of small towels and some flannels if they are any use?

Will see what else I can dig out tomorrow and get it packed up ready for posting x
