cheaper critical care fine grind

I find the vets charge almost 20 pounds for a bag of this but Iv recently found you can buy it off eBay for 15 pounds and it is always useful to keep some in for stasis moments it is easier to syringe than the other type

I have read a lot of people just mulching up the pellets with water too.

Fingers crossed I don't need to do anything like that for a while.

Thank you for this tip Hunnybunny2007 I now save the powdered Science Selective that gets left at the bottom of the sacks to use in case I need it as none of the rabbits I have ever had have taken to the critical care taste so figured must be better to use the same food they already have than waste my money on something they hate and that stresses me and them out trying to syringe feed it to them!

The critical care fine grind is a bit finer than the science select powder at the bottom of the bag but I have mixed them before now.
Coco is on Science Select now and always has it dampened.
He even likes a bit of critical care mix put on the top of the damp pellets sometimes too, but he won't eat critical care fine grind from a bowl so we still have to syringe feed him when he has his stasis bouts.

You don't even have to put them in the blender if you collect up the powder from the bottom of the sack before you throw the sack out
